In my paintings, I celebrate my joy in the everyday beauty of flowers.
I’m a forager at heart and it’s the flowers that I discover in my garden, on my walks, and travels – both near and far – that delight me the most. The simplest of blooms make me smile.
I inherited my love of colour from my grandmother and my artist mother, but I have also been inspired by the vibrant energy and hues of India. Here, the ordinary, the everyday is celebrated – beautifully dressed and adorned women working on the side of the road, flowers painted on trucks, pink barber shops, decorated cows, daily offerings of jasmine and incense.
Painting flowers brings me great joy. I hope you enjoy them too.
“can we speak in flowers.
it will be easier for me to understand.”
